over the next 12 months and plans to more than double this figure in the
following year
Bangkok, 9 September 2026 – Var Group,
a leading digital integrator of services and solutions, recently established
Yarix APAC (Yarix Asia Pacific) through a joint venture designed to strengthen
cybersecurity delivery in Thailand while expanding Var Group’s managed security
capabilities across the Asia Pacific region.
The new company, headquartered in
Bangkok, Thailand, is owned 51% by CV Ventures, a Thai technology company with
deep local market expertise, and 49% by Yarix, Var Group’s cybersecurity center
of excellence dedicated to advanced security services and operations.
Yarix APAC focuses on Blue Team and
defensive security capabilities, supporting enterprises and institutions in
addressing increasingly sophisticated cyber threats while strengthening Var
Group’s global security operations.
A Local Operating
Model Backed by Global Expertise
Yarix APAC adopts a local-first
operating model designed to combine international cybersecurity expertise with
deep knowledge of the Thai market. All current employees in the Bangkok office
are Thai nationals, including its Managing Director, reflecting the company’s
commitment to building long-term cybersecurity capabilities in the country.
At the same time, the Bangkok Security
Operation Center (SOC) team operates according to globally aligned Yarix
methodologies, processes, and operating standards, enabling consistent service
delivery across regions while maintaining the flexibility needed to respond to
local market requirements. This approach is already in use, and the team has
successfully delivered its first local Incident Response engagement.
Strengthening 24/7
Service Delivery Through the Follow the Sun Model
The Bangkok operation will support Var
Group’s SOC services, enabling continuous monitoring and incident response
through teams operating across multiple time zones under the company’s Follow
the Sun model.
Bangkok was selected not only for its
growing cybersecurity ecosystem, but also for its strategic time-zone position
within Var Group’s global operating model. By extending SOC coverage across
Asia Pacific working hours, Yarix APAC enables seamless 24/7 threat monitoring
and response without relying extensively on overnight operations.
This approach ensures uninterrupted
protection for clients while supporting a more sustainable operating model that
reduces the need for night shifts and helps improve analyst well-being.
Positioning Thailand
as a Regional Cybersecurity Hub
Var Group sees Thailand as a strategic
delivery hub for enterprise cybersecurity services across the Asia Pacific,
supported by the country’s accelerating digital transformation and increasing
focus on cyber resilience.
The company believes that its
experience supporting organizations operating under international regulatory
and security frameworks can provide additional value to Thai enterprises and
multinational organizations operating across the region.

Krishnayos “Chris” Puranasamriddhi,
Chairman at CV Ventures, commented:
“Thailand’s cybersecurity market is entering a very promising phase of growth, driven by cloud adoption, AI-enabled services, stronger regulatory requirements, and the rapid digitalization of critical industries. What is especially encouraging is that organizations are increasingly looking for enterprise-grade outcomes rather than standalone security products. We believe this creates a strong opportunity for Yarix APAC to play a strategic role by providing trusted, scalable cybersecurity support that helps Thai enterprises and regional organizations strengthen resilience, accelerate innovation, and grow with confidence.”
Growth Strategy and Commercial Expansion
The establishment of Yarix APAC forms
part of Var Group’s broader international growth strategy. Since 2022, Var
Group has expanded its cybersecurity operations across Italy, other European
markets, Mexico, and India, bringing its cybersecurity presence to 13 offices
across 6 countries. Var Group’s cybersecurity business generates consolidated
turnover of €50 million (THB 1,921.8 million) and is supported by more than 400
cybersecurity professionals.
In Thailand, Yarix APAC is targeting THB30 million in revenue over the next 12 months, with a goal of more than doubling that figure over the subsequent 12 months.
To support this growth, the company has already signed two distribution agreements with local partners, established a reseller agreement, and built a local sales team to support direct customer engagement.
Yarix services are also available
through a dedicated Thai-language website, including a section for 24/7
Incident Response support in the event of a cyberattack.

Fabrizio Saltalippi, Director of
International Business at Var Group, said: “Thailand is a strategic foundation
for Var Group’s next phase of international cybersecurity growth. We are seeing
increasing demand from organizations that need globally delivered managed
security services. Yarix APAC allows us to connect our European, American, and
Asian operations into a more integrated security platform, enabling customers
to benefit from shared expertise, coordinated threat intelligence, and
continuous service delivery across regions.”
Var Group has plans to invest several
hundred million THB over the next 24–36 months, supporting local hiring and the
development of advanced cybersecurity capabilities. The company also views
Thailand as a future base for expanding globally delivered infrastructure
services across the Asia Pacific region.
